The New York Yankees are a professional baseball team based in the borough of the Bronx, in New York City, New York and are a member of Major League Baseball's American League East Division. One of the American League's eight charter franchises, the club was founded in Baltimore, Maryland in 1901 as the Baltimore Orioles, and moved to New York City in 1903, becoming known as the New York Highlanders before being officially renamed the "Yankees" in 1913. he 2010 season will feature the rivalry between the Yankees and Red Sox being revived to start and end the season. The Yankees and the Red Sox started and will finish the season against each other at Fenway Park. This will mark the first time since 1950 this has happened. The 2010 season will also feature Joe Torre's Dodgers playing games against the Yankees for the first time since he became manager of the Dodgers.

From 1998 to the present, they have played in Chase Field (formerly Bank One Ballpark). Also known as the D-backs,  Arizona has one World Series title, in 2001, becoming the fastest team in the majors to win a championship, doing it in only 3 years since their expansion in 1998.
